Xeno was responsible for all aspects of visual design, interior design, furniture, finishes, kitchen design and menu planning… plus funding for Earth Mothers.

It was a simple concept: serve Healthy Home Style™ cuisine for breakfast and lunch using the finest organic ingredients.

Located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, Earth Mothers was open 2003 – 2004. In that time we became many people’s favorite new restaurant, including Mayor Richard M. Daley – something we’re very proud of.

Earth Mothers gave us the opportunity – and responsibility – for being both the project’s creative services supplier and client. This wasn’t just another new business – it was a showcase for all we were capable of.

Below, are images of the exterior and dining room… the kitchen was painted pale pink. All our employees were college educated. College was not a requirement; it just turned out that way. They were the best.
