Xeno: 2001-2011

The ten year period: 2001-11 saw us challenge ourselves with the biggest special project we had ever attempted: Earth Mothers cafe.  This required us to move back to the windy city, where we opened Chicago’s Freshest Organic Cafe & Juice Bar in September ’03.

We focused all our resources on Earth Mothers and it was a hit – lots of positive recognition and many happy customers.  Even Mayor Daley ordered lunches from Earth Mothers on a regular basis.

In 2004, Earth Mothers evolved into Bliss Kitchen.  Chef Patti, a specialist in Ayurvedic cuisine, began personal and private cheffing for select Earth Mothers customers and I refocused on Xeno Design.  Together, we returned to Southern California in 2006.

Home and office is now in Palm Desert, 2+ hours east of Los Angeles.  – c –
